Role Overview:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll support developers integrating Sendbird’s platform, troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and ensure timely and quality assistance for global clients. This role is crucial in maintaining high SLAs and customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues via ticketing and chat.
• Understand and advocate for customers by diving deep into API/server/SDK problems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and fix product bugs.
• Improve internal tools and documentation.
• Participate in flexible work shift rotations, especially supporting EMEA time zones (2 PM – 11 PM IST).

Requirements:

• 1–2 years in technical support or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, WebSockets).
• Experience with at least one mobile/web framework (e.g., Android, iOS, React, React Native).
• Debugging experience across platforms.
• Familiarity with SaaS, APIs, SDKs.

Preferred Skills:

• Coding or software engineering background.
• Experience with Jira, Salesforce, or similar support tools.
• Exposure to API platforms or start-ups.
