Staff DevOps Engineer

Nextracker is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to design, maintain, and enhance Azure-based infrastructure for image creation and application development for embedded devices. This role will focus on automation, security key management, and CI/CD processes, ensuring a scalable, secure, and efficient development environment.

Azure Environment Management

• Design, maintain, and optimize Azure infrastructure for image creation and application development.
• Implement best practices for resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring in Azure.

Security Key Management

• Implement secure processes for generating, storing, and managing security keys for embedded devices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and encryption protocols.

Automation & CI/CD Pipelines

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with software, hardware, and QA teams to streamline integration and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Azure services (Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, Key Vault).
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

DevOps & Automation

• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Security & Infrastructure

• Strong understanding of key management and infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, encryption, and secure communication.

Problem-Solving & Leadership

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
