Linux System Engineer (Support) | Ryel Hiring

Ryel is expanding its team and looking for Linux System Cloud Engineers to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our Linux-based cloud environments. If you are passionate about open-source technologies, cloud platforms, and automation, we invite you to be part of our dynamic team.

Server Monitoring and Security:

• Monitor uptime, server load, and network performance
• Detect and mitigate DDoS attacks and security incidents
• Analyze abuse patterns and implement countermeasures

Deployment and Maintenance:

• Deploy, configure, and optimize Linux-based cloud servers
• Maintain and troubleshoot FTP, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux OS, MySQL, and other services
• Implement automation and orchestration solutions using Ansible

Customer Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical assistance via email, live chat, and internal communication tools
• Assist Customer Success Teams in resolving technical queries
• Escalate complex issues to specialized internal teams

Collaboration and Optimization:

• Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges
• Enhance system performance and automation strategies
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, CloudLinux)
• Experience with web hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin)
• Knowledge of web servers (Nginx, Apache, LiteSpeed, NodeJS, Tomcat)
• Understanding of network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, BGP, routing, bridging, firewalls)
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting skills in Bash, PHP, Python
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Magento, CodeIgniter)
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in rotational shifts (24/7 support)
