Job Summary
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and automating cloud infrastructure. You will work with Terraform, Jenkins, Harness, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools to optimize infrastructure, enhance monitoring, and support production issues. The role involves working on Google Cloud (GCP) and on-premises data centers, ensuring high availability, cost optimization, and adherence to security standards.
Requirements
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform scripts.
- CI/CD Management: Create and manage pipelines using Harness & Jenkins.
- Monitoring & Alerts: Configure observability tools like Splunk (Rigor, Splunk Observability) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Production Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents efficiently.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor infrastructure costs and automate scaling based on demand.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security and cloud governance best practices.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, identify DevOps tasks, and propose automation improvements.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar DevOps role.
- Strong expertise in Terraform, CI/CD, Jenkins, Harness, Kubernetes, and Shell scripting.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps tools for Java applications is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and proactive alerting mechanisms.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Passion for automation and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
