3Pillar is looking for a skilled System Administrator to join their Information and Business Systems team. Requirements
- Manage systems and user accounts
- Troubleshoot network, server, desktop, and printer issues (L1 & L2)
- Build and image computers (Linux, Windows, macOS)
- Support AV communications and collaboration systems
- Manage software and hardware inventory
- Provide IT support for employees and clients
- Perform onboarding and offboarding tasks for employees
- Ensure system and data security by following company policies
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and procedures
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11
- Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 or Linux servers
- Understanding of networking concepts: routing, switching, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP, VPN, VLANs
- Installation, configuration, and administration of Unix/Linux, Microsoft networks
- Troubleshooting Office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, G Suite) and Windows services (DNS, DHCP, AD, NPS)
- Experience with Atlassian stack and AV communication systems
- Strong documentation and research skills
- Knowledge of database management, backup, and recovery
- Understanding of systems and network security concepts
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Linux and macOS
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
- Experience with enterprise security systems (anti-virus, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Exposure to monitoring systems and log management solutions
