Hiring: Support Engineer – Amazon

Amazon's Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWR&R) team is on a mission to achieve "Zero Defects," "Zero Cost of Returns," "Zero Product Waste to Landfill," and "Net Zero Carbon." The team is responsible for optimizing the return process by eliminating product defects, reducing waste, and maximizing reusability while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

The WWR&R Data Engineering team in Hyderabad is building the next generation of reverse logistics data solutions. As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining analytical technologies, supporting data pipelines, optimizing queries, and working closely with business customers to provide structured access to critical datasets.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to real-time data processing, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work on large-scale data systems while contributing to Amazon's sustainability initiatives.

• Develop, document, and support real-time, scalable data warehousing and reporting systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or technical support.

• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), networking, and operating systems.
• Exposure to large-scale data systems, SQL optimization, and data pipeline design.
