The Site Reliability Engineer (Security Engineer) will play a key role in enhancing security and DevSecOps practices within the OptumRx Platform Security Team. This position focuses on implementing automated security solutions, improving application security through CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining compliance across cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute penetration testing and remediation for 90% of external-facing assets.
• Enhance CI/CD security test coverage to ensure 100% adoption.
• Manage vulnerabilities in accordance with OptumRx SLA guidelines.
• Conduct DAST, DDoS, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and deploy automated security templates for continuous integration and deployment.
• Establish central security governance and enforce policies to prevent security configuration drifts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment contracts, and evolving business requirements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience as a DevSecOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in security automation.
• Strong background in Vulnerability Assessment and remediation.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
