Job Description

We are looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer with expertise in system administration, automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing and optimizing Linux servers, ensuring high availability, implementing security measures, and automating workflows for seamless deployments.

Requirements

  • Linux Server Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize Linux servers (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).
  • Performance Monitoring & Capacity Planning: Monitor system performance, plan resource allocation, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible, Chef, and shell scripting for system monitoring and software deployment.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Redgate for faster deployments.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios, and the ELK Stack for real-time system monitoring and alerts.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply security measures, conduct regular audits, and manage firewall rules and user access controls.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage Docker containers, build images, and work with orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
  • Incident Management: Quickly resolve critical system issues and minimize downtime using proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible, Chef).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Redgate).
  • Familiarity with monitoring & performance tuning tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix).
  • Understanding of security best practices, compliance, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
