Hiring: DevOps Engineer (Python/Groovy Coding Expert) at AMD

AMD is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance the continuous integration, testing, and automation processes for the compiler team. This role involves close collaboration with DevOps, QA, and CQE teams to streamline testing practices, maintain integration pipelines, and optimize development workflows.

• Work with the compiler team to refine and enhance testing processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and CQE teams to improve automation and development flow.
• Design, build, test, and maintain toolchains for critical engineering functions.
• Enhance build, testing, and automation scripts for improved efficiency.
• Implement automation technologies to accelerate development and testing.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in scripting languages such as Groovy, Perl, and Python.
• Proficiency with SCM tools like GitHub, Gerrit, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, and Buildbot.
• Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with compiler development, particularly LLVM.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
