Requirements
RightData is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic fresher for a DevOps Engineer role. This position offers hands-on experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, infrastructure management, cost optimization, and monitoring tools. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced engineers to automate, optimize, and enhance infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Maintain an inventory of infrastructure, licenses, and software to ensure efficient tracking.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in cloud environments and optimize resource usage.
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Assist in implementing security best practices in DevOps workflows.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enhance automation and deployment strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their services (compute, storage, networking, security, etc.).
- Awareness of infrastructure management, software licensing, and inventory tracking.
- Basic knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud environments.
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (a plus but not required).
