As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, the primary responsibilities include developing and operating cloud solutions to accelerate Continental’s cloud journey.
Requirements
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps workflows for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud architecture solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and delivery of cloud-based applications.
- Develop and operate shared services using declarative configuration management.
- Manage application deployments on Kubernetes.
- Act as a technical role model by sharing cloud expertise and publishing technical documentation.
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, a related technical field, or an equivalent qualification.
- General knowledge of cloud platforms, including architecture, services, networking, and security models.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Proficiency in CI/CD processes, pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Advanced programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, TypeScript).
- Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.
- Strong technical documentation skills for incident tracking and knowledge management.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
