DevOps/SRE Engineer

Role Overview
The DevOps/SRE Engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Zeotap’s production infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and cost-efficiency. This role involves working with CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting engineering teams.
Requirements
- Install, manage, and maintain production infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize the CI/CD infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance in production systems.
- Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Assist in performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Manage incident and change management processes.
- Develop and implement automation and compliance tools.
- Ensure adherence to company security policies and complete required training.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles within internet or product companies.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker).
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including troubleshooting OS, database, filesystem, and networking issues.
- Understanding of networking and the OSI model.
- Hands-on experience deploying IPSec tunnels using OpenSwan or Cisco.
- Knowledge of Linux security controls (CIS benchmarks).
