DevOps Engineer - VegaStack - PeerXP

We’re looking for DevOps Engineers to join our team! If you love automation, deploying product updates, and ensuring system reliability, this role is for you. You’ll work on identifying production issues, implementing integrations, and streamlining operational processes.

✔️ Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git or SVN

✔️ Web Servers: Experience with Apache, Nginx, JBoss, Tomcat

✔️ Containerization: Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes

✔️ CI/CD: Strong experience in GitLab CI/CD

✔️ Cloud Technologies: Basic knowledge of AWS services (ELB, VPC, S3, RDS)

✔️ Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python

✔️ Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation

✔️ Networking: Basic concepts of DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, TCP/IP

✔️ System Performance: Ability to optimize and troubleshoot system performance

✔️ Backup & Recovery: Experience with system backup and recovery

🛠 Toolset You Should Know:

✅ OS: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), Windows

✅ Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket

✅ Scripting: Bash/Shell, Python

✅ Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL

✅ Web Servers: NGINX, Apache2

✅ Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean

✅ CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD

✅ Configuration Management: Ansible (Basics)

✅ Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation (Basics)

✨ Good to Have:

🔹 Advanced Kubernetes & Docker Swarm experience

🔹 Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, Microsoft SQL

🔹 Familiarity with SonarQube, Bamboo, CircleCI, GitHub Actions

🔹 Knowledge of Puppet, Chef, Ant, Maven
