DevOps Engineer – Transactional Storage and Config (TSC) | Amazon

The Transactional Storage & Config (TSC) team at Amazon is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and manage critical data migration and replication operations. This role is vital in ensuring seamless movement of Amazon data across regions, optimizing customer latency, reducing blast radius risks, and improving system resilience.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Operationalizing data migration and replication processes
• Troubleshooting and maintaining highly scalable infrastructure
• Engaging with internal customers to enhance system performance
• Identifying automation opportunities to boost developer productivity
• Supporting customer-facing products across multiple Amazon businesses

Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services, networking, and operating systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and optimization
