DevOps Engineer role at Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC)

Zoetis is the world’s leading animal healthcare company. ZICC is Zoetis’ innovation and tech hub in Hyderabad, focused on driving digital transformation and global collaboration.

You’ll be part of the global architecture and engineering team, responsible for implementing and supporting DevOps functions across a wide ecosystem, including point-of-care devices, cloud platforms, and mobile applications.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Coordinate with Cloud Ops and Security teams for deployments
• Monitor hosting costs and suggest optimization
• Document infrastructure and operational procedures
• Set up backups, monitoring, and incident response processes
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues
• Keep up with AWS innovations and recommend applications

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on with AWS (EC2, Lambda, EKS, IAM, Elastic Beanstalk, etc.)
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Azure services like AppService, AKS, RBAC
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira
• Strong networking and firewall fundamentals
• Infrastructure and app monitoring (Azure dashboards)

Bonus Skills

• Exposure to OpenTelemetry stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kiali)
• Experience with service mesh technologies like ISTIO

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Reports to: Head of Global Dx Digital Product Architecture & Engineering
• Travel may be required
• Familiarity with regulated industries (healthcare/diagnostics) is a plus .
