DevOps Engineer

oCode Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations of their server environment. Collaboration with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders will drive improvements in software delivery processes and enhance overall system reliability.

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline the software delivery pipeline, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues to optimize resource utilization and application performance
• Develop and maintain configuration management tools and processes to manage infrastructure as code
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Work closely with development teams to support their infrastructure needs and improve the deployment process
• Maintain and enhance system monitoring, alerting, and logging tools to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security practices and controls
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning, networking, and security
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Splunk
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
