Cloud DevOps Engineer

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Zoom, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for key services, including AI Companion, Live Transcription & Translation, Advanced Whiteboard, Zoom Docs, and more. You will collaborate with Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and automation.

This role requires expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), observability, and multi-cloud environments. Additionally, participation in a 7-day on-call rotation is required to support production services.

• Deploy and manage services across multi-cloud and on-prem environments for high availability
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools
• Improve system observability using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK Stack
• Optimize Kubernetes deployments in multi-cloud and on-prem environments
• Write automation scripts using Python, Golang, or Shell
• Collaborate with Developers to drive service maturity and performance improvements
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support

Requirements

• Certificate or degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in large-scale cloud infrastructure automation using Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Golang, or Shell)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in multi-cloud and on-premises environments
• Strong knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Experience building production-grade CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD
• Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with remote collaboration
