Akamai Cloud Engineer – Concentrix Catalyst

• AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, and Route53.
• Production Troubleshooting: Command production issues across CDN, WAF, application logic, web services, and APIs.
• DevOps & Automation: Utilize Terraform for AWS integrations with GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker.
• CI/CD & Agile Development: Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• WAF Implementation: Configure and deploy Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect applications from security threats.
• Akamai Configuration: Optimize CDN services, caching, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
• Security & Incident Response: Monitor security events, analyze WAF logs, and respond to incidents promptly.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and improve WAF and Akamai configurations.
• Production Support: Lead production implementations and provide ongoing support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across CDN, WAF, and application layers.
• Expertise in Terraform for cloud automation.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools like Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with WAF deployment and security policy development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scripting (C-Shell, Bash, Python, Ruby).
• Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Terraform Associate certification.
