Vertoz is hiring Intern – DevOps Engineer – Mumbai, Maharashtra

Vertoz is looking for a DevOps Intern with foundational experience in Linux systems and exposure to DevOps tools and practices. This is an opportunity to work in a 24x7 environment with a focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern deployment technologies.

• Work with Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu) via command line
• Assist with cloud operations on AWS or similar platforms
• Support virtualization tools such as KVM, VMware, or VirtualBox
• Apply basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting and setup
• Work with web servers like Apache and technologies like Redis, Tomcat
• Support database tasks with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
• Contribute to automation using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Docker
• Document technical procedures and follow guides accurately

• Education: BE, BSc (CS/IT), ME, or MSc (CS/IT)
• Certification: RHCE or RHCSA is mandatory
• Based in Mumbai
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment
• Strong self-motivation and ability to follow technical documentation
