Trainee Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement business initiatives across public cloud domains.
• Understand and utilize various services and functionalities within Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Contribute to solution design and effectively communicate solutions to the business.
• Ensure designed or implemented solutions meet criteria for cost, requirements, resilience, performance, security, and scalability.
• Share knowledge and skills related to cloud services with the wider technology team, including the Data Science team.
• Support Microsoft SQL Server Administration, particularly during database transformations.

Requirements

• Understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud engineering or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of networking and security concepts.
• Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Familiarity with data interchange and serialization formats (JSON, YAML).
• Knowledge or experience in administrating operating systems (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux).
• Familiarity with at least one coding or scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, SQL).
