Trainee Cloud Engineer

They are looking for an L1 DevOps Support Engineer to provide first-level support for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Monitor and support CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and production environments.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to L2/L3 teams.
• Perform basic system administration tasks, including user management and log analysis.
• Assist in maintaining and updating deployment scripts, monitoring tools, and automation processes.
• Document troubleshooting steps, SOPs, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth releases and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows administration.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitLab CI.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
