S&P Global Market Intelligence is looking for a Release / DevOps Engineer to join its Release Services team. This role involves engineering automation solutions for software and infrastructure deployment, server configuration, and continuous integration systems. It offers the opportunity to work in a globally distributed team, contributing to mission-critical systems that power financial data and analytics.

• Automate server configurations, software builds, testing, and deployments
• Provide deployment support from development to production environments
• Continuously improve existing tools, automation, and processes
• Participate in after-hours and weekend production deployments
• Document internal systems for cross-training and support purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, MIS, PMO, and product management
• Attend scrum and operations meetings regularly

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Release Engineering or DevOps
• Proficiency in scripting/programming: PowerShell, Bash, Groovy, Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, TFS, VSTS, SonarQube, GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
• Experience with configuration automation tools: Ansible
• Strong knowledge of version control systems: Git, SVN
• Experience with code dependency management: NuGet, Artifactory
• Competence in server and application issue resolution across Windows and Linux environments
• Understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology-related field
