Salesforce Hiring DevOps Engineer (SRE) in Hyderabad & Bangalore, India (Full-Time)

Salesforce is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their cutting-edge engineering team in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This role involves managing large-scale, highly available distributed systems running Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure. As a key contributor, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Salesforce’s Core CRM platform, impacting millions of users worldwide. You will automate deployments using Terraform, Python, Golang, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker, while working with cloud platforms including AWS. • Manage and operate a multi-cluster Kubernetes environment supporting microservices for Salesforce CRM.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed cloud environments with a focus on uptime and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, and scripting languages.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms to proactively maintain system health.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, development, and security teams to drive platform improvements.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong Linux system administration skills, including knowledge of Linux internals.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and GoLang.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Service Mesh, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, Spinnaker, Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, load balancers, routers, and switches.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production incidents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
