Mercer is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Technology team in Gurugram. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the office. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and improving system reliability using tools like AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.

• Deploy infrastructure on AWS using Terraform
• Implement updates and patches to existing systems
• Build automation tools to reduce errors and enhance user experience
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues
• Develop automation scripts
• Provide system troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps roles

• Proficient in:

  • AWS
  • Terraform
  • Linux administration and shell scripting
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins (CI server)
  • Web servers: Apache, Nginx, or Tomcat

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently
