Matrix is hiring DevOps Engineer – India

Matrix is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its AML Technology Department. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in Groovy, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and support secure, scalable deployments in a financial services environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripts
• Automate deployment processes to improve reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software development lifecycle
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Ensure compliance with security standards throughout the deployment process
• Provide production support, including on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in banking or financial services
• Advanced skills in Groovy scripting and Jenkins pipeline development
• Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices
• Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

• Understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments

• Relevant certifications:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
