Amazon’s Fulfillment Technologies team seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and support critical services powering Amazon’s global fulfillment network. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving automation, and contributing to operational excellence. You’ll troubleshoot and debug distributed systems, support service improvements, and help scale mission-critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Manage and support high-availability systems
- Automate processes and improve service efficiency
- Drive process and service improvements for scaling infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems
- Collaborate with business, PMs, and engineering teams
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
- Strong scripting skills in modern languages
- Proficiency in troubleshooting/debugging technical systems
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of web services and distributed systems
- Experience with REST, XML, JSON, and web application development
- Familiarity with hardware/software RAID maintenance
