Hiring: Cloud Engineer – NCR VOYIX

NCR VOYIX is looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer to assist in implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud (GCP). This role offers an opportunity to develop cloud engineering skills while supporting a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying and configuring cloud resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Networking components
• Monitor multi-cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and incidents
• Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and stakeholders to support cloud solutions
• Follow best practices for cloud governance, cost management, and resource organization
• Document configurations, processes, and changes for knowledge sharing
• Participate in a 24x7 On-Call support rotation, working US East hours (8 AM to 5 PM)

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud services
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addresses, firewalls, VPNs)
• Basic experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI for resource management
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow in cloud technologies
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a related field

Technical Skills

• Compute: Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, App Services, Containers, Availability Sets
• Serverless: Application Gateway, Logic Apps, Azure Functions
• Networking: Load balancers, application gateways, Traffic Manager
• Identity and Access Management
• Cloud Migration: Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Migration, Recovery Services Vault
• Azure DevOps: Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos
• Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Services
