Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning via Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Ensure production scalability up to 5x with zero performance compromise.

Cloud & Infrastructure

Manage AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, EKS, CloudWatch.
Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery systems.
Integrate third-party CDNs and security tools like Cloudflare, Palo Alto.

Monitoring & Observability

Deploy Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry for observability.
Perform performance tuning and proactive error handling.

Security & Compliance

Integrate secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security best practices.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Support

Partner with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline deployment cycles.
Provide on-call support and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Documentation & Process

Maintain runbooks, process docs, and knowledge bases.
Identify opportunities to reduce lead time and improve MTTR.

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
Cloud: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Networking: DNS, VPC, firewalls, Load Balancers
Web Servers: NGINX, Apache
On-premise connectivity, data centers, and exchange infrastructure knowledge
