Position: DevOps Engineer

• Experience: 1–2 Years
• Location: Remote (Bangalore-based)
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Your Role: As a DevOps Engineer at FloBiz, you’ll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate tasks, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development and operations teams to improve workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash.
• Monitor system health using tools like Prometheus, ELK.
• Troubleshoot issues in dev, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams for process improvements.
• Assist in managing and configuring infrastructure.
• Implement security measures and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Document processes for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Stay updated with new technologies and tools.

Required Skills:

• Scripting and automation knowledge: Python, Bash.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic networking protocols and configurations.
• Understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tech.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, ELK.
• Understanding of security best practices.
