financial.com AG is seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join its operations team in Kochi. In this full-time role, you will help plan, secure, and optimize a globally distributed network infrastructure and support a large-scale fleet of Linux servers. The position offers exposure to open-source automation tools, opportunities for continuous learning, and the flexibility of a hybrid work model.

• Plan and manage network infrastructure across six global data centers
• Optimize packet-switching infrastructure for low latency and high throughput
• Secure the network using OpenBSD firewalls and manage VPNs and leased lines
• Automate network configurations with tools like Ansible and Python
• Support a Linux server fleet (~600 nodes running Debian 12 and CentOS 8)
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (one week in five, fully compensated)
• Expand knowledge in technologies like Kubernetes and Puppet

• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and networking
• Hands-on experience with scripting in Bash, Perl, or Python
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and virtualization platforms such as Icinga, Linux KVM, Puppet, Hiera, Ansible, Git, Facter, or MySQL
• Competence with switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls
• Several years of experience in a similar technical environment
