Job Description

Mavis Tire Supply is hiring an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join its technology team at the headquarters in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and DevSecOps practices across both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure).

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to modernize deployment workflows and improve the scalability, reliability, and security of enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated software and infrastructure deployment
  • Develop SQL deployment workflows using SQL as Code methodologies (e.g., Flyway, SSDT)
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools like Terraform and ARM Templates
  • Manage and secure Azure services including Function Apps, API Gateway, Key Vault, Storage, Networking
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline operations and ensure smooth application delivery
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including security scanning and compliance in pipelines
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Write automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to reduce manual effort
  • Stay current with emerging DevOps and security technologies

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and services
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM Templates
  • Knowledge of SQL as Code tools like Liquibase, Flyway, or SSDT
  • Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, Python
  • Solid understanding of networking, version control systems (Git), and system monitoring
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate)
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog)
  • Experience with Kafka or Red Panda
  • Working knowledge of Ansible and unit testing in CI pipelines
  • Background in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Exposure to SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management tools
