DevOps Engineer I – Bengaluru, India CommerceIQ | Full-Time | On-site (Bengaluru) | 2+ Years Experience

Join our Platform Management team as a DevOps Engineer I, where you will ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our global SaaS infrastructure. You will be hands-on with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD pipelines, driving automation and performance improvements at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement DevOps best practices for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Manage AWS/GCP cloud environments for compute, storage, and serverless systems.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, or Ansible.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
• Drive system observability using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or SignalFx.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and implement tools to find root causes efficiently.
• Support microservice architecture and RESTful APIs in a cloud-native environment.
• Work closely with development teams to optimize deployment workflows.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE role in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
• Proficient in Python, with exposure to Ruby and Java.
• Hands-on experience in Linux-based infrastructure and system security.
• Deep knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools (Terraform/Terragrunt).
• Experience in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong understanding of monitoring/logging tools: EFK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience managing multi-tenant, scalable platforms in production.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working on B2C or SaaS products.
• Familiarity with secure DevOps practices and incident response strategies.
• Knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices.
