Cornerstone is hiring Junior Engineer – Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Cornerstone is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join its Mumbai-based team. In this office-based role, you’ll help build scalable, innovative software solutions for global organizations. Working in an agile environment, you'll be involved in the full development lifecycle—from analysis and design to coding and testing.

• Analyze specifications and develop designs that meet defined standards
• Write clean, tested code and perform debugging of moderately complex features
• Automate quality initiatives to improve product reliability and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Support, Services, and Product Management
• Provide estimates for deliverables
• Work within agile development cycles, contributing to development sprints and release planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
• Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin or Objective C/Swift
• Solid understanding of Spring, Android/iOS lifecycle, and mobile design patterns
• Working knowledge of Android/iOS libraries and ecosystems
• Familiarity with Java EE, web development frameworks, and transaction-based systems
• Good understanding of RDBMS
• Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Open to recent graduates with a strong willingness to learn
