As a Containerization & Virtualisation Engineer, you’ll build next-generation container tech, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization tools in Rust, Go, and C/C++—powering AI, IoT, and modern DevOps environments.

Requirements
- Design and implement features for container and virtualization tools
- Contribute to open source projects (RustVMM, LXD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Perform kernel and system-level programming on Linux
- Conduct code reviews, performance benchmarks, and security audits
- Collaborate in a fully-remote, global team with 2-4 annual international meetups
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong skills in Rust, Go, or C/C++ with a systems programming mindset
- Proven experience with container tools (Docker, LXD, containerd) or VMMs
- Proficient in Linux internals, namespaces, networking, and security
- Experience with public/private cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack)
- Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred Experience
- Contributions to open source virtualization or container projects
- Performance engineering, cloud orchestration, or kernel development
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Ceph, Firecracker, or RustVMM
