As a Cloud Support Engineer at AWS, you will be at the forefront of cloud technology, helping companies and developers worldwide optimize their cloud environments. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a customer-first approach.
Requirements
- Provide customer support for AWS cloud services through phone, email, and web/live chat.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex customer issues.
- Work closely with customers to diagnose root causes and offer tailored solutions.
- Mentor new hires, develop training materials, and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal AWS development teams on complex support cases.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve support processes.
- Drive customer communication during critical events.
- Create tutorials, technical articles, and how-to guides for the developer community.
- Handle critical security-related issues spanning multiple AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical role.
- At least 2 years of experience in security, operating system support, and distributed systems.
- Exposure to information security and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including SSO and SAML.
- Understanding of cloud security, including identity management, auditing, and cryptography.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as NextGen firewalls, WAF, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
