Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a global leader in cloud computing, providing cutting-edge solutions to companies worldwide. As part of the AWS Support team, you will be a Cloud Ambassador, assisting businesses and developers with mission-critical applications.

Requirements

  • Customer support role – troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via phone, email, and chat.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques for tailored solutions.
  • Assist with analytics technologies such as Redshift, QuickSight, Neptune, and Datazone.
  • Work with global AWS teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Participate in mentorship, training, and process improvements.
  • Develop tutorials, technical documentation, and best practices.
  • Drive critical event communication with customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years in a technical role.
  • Database fundamentals and troubleshooting (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) or experience in search services (Elasticsearch, Solr) or streaming services (Kafka, Kinesis).
  • Experience in business analytics application support and troubleshooting.
  • System administration expertise with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) or Windows Server.
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer support and technical issue resolution.
  • ETL and data warehousing experience (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, Exadata).
  • Cloud computing knowledge.
  • Scripting or development skills in Python, R, Ruby, Go, Java, .NET (C#), or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in search services (Elasticsearch, Solr) or streaming services (Kafka, Kinesis).
