Cloud Security Engineer I

As a Cloud Security Engineer I, the individual will be part of the Global Information Security team, ensuring the security of Invesco’s cloud landscape. This role involves designing and implementing cloud security solutions that align with their global security strategy.

• Configure security technologies for cloud and on-premises environments following industry best practices.
• Support cloud projects and implement various security technologies focusing on cloud security.
• Define security requirements for data protection, component communication, and regulatory compliance.
• Enhance cloud security solutions in alignment with NIST and Cloud Security Alliance guidelines.
• Provide security support, including patches, upgrades, and improvements.
• Deliver metrics and updates on security projects.
• Research, design, and implement security solutions to strengthen the organization’s cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate and report emerging security threats and trends.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IT security, focusing on infrastructure security.
• Expertise in threat modeling, cloud data protection, SIEM systems, cloud workload protection, IAM, and key management.
• Hands-on experience deploying security solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
• Proficiency in configuration scans and security methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, JSON, application security, and software-defined solutions.
• Experience in Cloud IAM administration, Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, and GPO implementation.
• Understanding of industry compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, and SOC1/2.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
