Requirements
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll be part of the backbone of Tungsten Automation’s Cloud Services Technology Stack. You will monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot complex incidents, and work closely with developers and vendors to ensure platform stability and efficiency. This is a hybrid role combining application operations, platform monitoring, and infrastructure management across AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud system status, performance metrics, uptime, and elasticity
- Act as the first point of contact for vendor escalations and daily operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues from escalated tickets (L2/L3 support)
- Deploy, update, and maintain cloud-based applications and customer environments
- Perform patch management, cloud storage optimization, and volume handling
- Maintain system asset records, licensing details, and vendor performance metrics
- Participate in weekly on-call rotations and cloud platform incident response
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
Required Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or IT Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server administration
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and cloud storage systems
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, LAN/VLAN, DNS, and firewalls
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for cloud performance issues
- Clear communication skills and ability to document processes and incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
