Cloud Engineer

Job Description
They are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the Enterprise Delivery team at Needl.ai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies and will deploy solutions tailored to customer requirements on the Azure public cloud platform. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and capable of delivering customized cloud solutions.
As a Cloud Engineer, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud environments for clients, ensuring that AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure. They will take ownership of customer deployments, ensuring successful delivery while driving automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Deployment: Deploy, maintain, and support Needl.AI solutions on public cloud platforms (preferably Azure Cloud) and on-prem setups.

Solution Design: Understand customer use cases and deploy cloud-based Needl.AI solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Utilize tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions to automate deployment and manage infrastructure.

Scalability & Optimization: Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the cloud infrastructure to support AI workloads at scale.

Collaboration: Work with the engineering team, product managers, and clients to ensure smooth integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.

Customer Success: Provide ongoing support for customer deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Best Practices & Architecture: Implement best practices for cloud architecture, ensuring high-quality design, efficient performance, and proper documentation for repeatable and scalable solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications

Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a proven track record of working on cloud deployments.

Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), with an understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment strategies.

Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Automation & CI/CD: Experience in automating cloud infrastructure and workflows using GitHub Actions and Python scripts.

Solution Design: Ability to design cloud solutions that meet customer needs, including experience with scalability, security, and cost optimization.

Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
