Blackbaud Hiring Staff DevOps Engineer – SRE | Hyderabad, Telangana

Seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer with a specialization in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Operations (IECO) team. In this role, you'll build and manage automation platforms, support scalable web applications, and implement secure cloud solutions in a DevSecOps culture.

This is an onsite role based in Hyderabad, with on-call support responsibilities for critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including automated unit testing and code coverage strategies.
• Create and maintain automation scripts, services, and reusable libraries to streamline cloud operations.
• Collaborate with security teams to proactively address cloud security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to design cost-effective and scalable application architectures.
• Provide technical leadership for infrastructure design and implementation that aligns with organizational goals.
• Monitor and support 24x7 mission-critical systems, ensuring high performance and availability.
• Develop scripts and orchestration tools using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in web technologies: JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, AJAX.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Experience developing and supporting high-performance 24x7 applications.
• Proficiency in automation/scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
• Ability to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable code in a DevOps environment.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation as needed for production support.

Preferred Skills

• Strong background in cloud orchestration and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and secure coding practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
