Job Description

EY is seeking an AWS Cloud Native Engineer to design and implement cloud-native applications and services using AWS technologies. This role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to build, deploy, and manage applications using AWS best practices, with a focus on financial services and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Application Development: Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, Glue, Redshift, EMR).
  • CI/CD & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Cloud Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Optimize application performance using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Security: Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance measures.
  • Container Management: Work with AWS ECS, EKS, and Fargate for containerized applications.
  • Integration & Troubleshooting: Ensure smooth data flow between AWS services and external systems while diagnosing and resolving application issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for deployments and configurations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • AWS Services: Strong experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Glue, Redshift, and EMR.
  • Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Observability Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Container Orchestration: Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
  • Security Best Practices: Understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, and encryption.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, etc.)
  • 3-4 years of experience in application engineering with AWS focus
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
