Associate Cloud Development Engineer

As an Associate Cloud Development Engineer at Pegasystems, you will work as part of the Infrastructure Services team, which supports the Pega Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. You will help design, build, and operate highly available, scalable cloud-native systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain cloud services. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies on AWS and GCP, as well as Kubernetes, Istio, and Observability tools.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native systems using Golang, Java, or Pega Platform.
• Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to design and document new Pega Cloud features.
• Design and execute unit, integration, and API tests.
• Utilize DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to automate operations of services.
• Assist the operations team with sophisticated tasks throughout the service lifecycle.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field/experience).
• Strong knowledge of Golang, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
