The Product Replenishment Operational Excellence (PROX) team at Amazon is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help drive automation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance system reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work on scalable systems, automate deployment pipelines, and resolve technical issues in a high-impact, customer-focused environment.

• Automate deployments and streamline ticket resolution processes.
• Develop tools to report on operational metrics and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development or DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell.
• Proficiency in Java or C++.
• Experience troubleshooting technical systems.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting scalable, distributed systems in a 24/7 environment.
• Familiarity with Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Ability to create and maintain monitoring dashboards.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
